Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre, Scrub Scout and Anaesthetic/PACU

Location: Darwin, NT

Pay: Up to $85/hour plus super and penalties

Joining bonus: Up to $1,000

We're recruiting experienced theatre RNs for the Operating Theatre department at a major tertiary hospital in the Northern Territory. Two roles are currently open, both requiring RN pay point 2.6 or above.

Scrub Scout RN

Positions available: 2

Start date 14 September 2026, contract length 6 to 12 weeks. You'll be covering scrub and scout duties across a range of surgical lists.

Anaesthetic RN (N2)

Positions available: 3

Start date 24 September 2026, contract length 6 to 12 weeks. PACU trained candidates preferred.

Essential requirements:

Current AHPRA registration, RN pay point 2.6 or above, and recent perioperative experience relevant to the role you're applying for.

With 5 positions across the two intakes, prompt submission is recommended, particularly for the earlier start date.
